THE INDIAN NAVY
Applications are invited from unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for MR (Musician) - 2/2008 Batch. Course Commencing 06 October 2008.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Candidates to be born between 01 Oct 1987 to 30 Sep 1991; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have passed the 10th standard.
Musical Ability : Should have proficiency in westorn national, aural aptitude, knowledge of theory of music and actual practical skill on any musical instrument.
Instruments on which Proficiency Required : String, Key-board, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Instruments both of Western and Indian Origin.
Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Musical Screening Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
How to Apply: Application Forms, in accordance with the prescribed format, and complete in all respects should be sent through Ordinary Post only with the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10th is to be clearly written on top of the envelope containing the application. Envelope should be brown colour with attested documents, two self-addressed envelopes of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed on one envelope to the following address:

Last Date : Laste date of receiving the application is 21/04/2007. For far-flung areas the last date is 28/04/2007.
