Those opting for BMRCL will be absorbed as Assistant Manager in CDA pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 (likely to be revised based on 6th Pay Commission’s report for CDA pay scales). Trainees who secure more than 60% marks during the PG Diploma Course will be granted two advance increments in Assistant Manager’s grade, while those who secure less than 60% marks will be granted only one advance increment at the time of induction. Such of candidates who do not complete the course or do not secure the minimum pass marks in the PG Diploma course at IIT/Delhi will not be inducted in DMRC. They will have to pay a bond amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs to DMRC towards training cost. Those candidates who successfully complete the course but do not join DMRC/ BMRCL, their candidature will lapse and they will also have to pay an amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs to DMRC as bond amount.

Bond & Notice Period time: Before joining the course, they will have to execute a bond of Rs. 5 Lakh to serve DMRC/ BMRCL for a period of five years (This is inclusive of the PG Diploma course period of one year). They will also have to give a notice period of three months if they want to leave DMRC/BMRCL at any point of time during bond period.

Qualification : Full time regular Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute in the disciplines of MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ ELECTRONICS/ CIVIL with minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all years / semesters.

Age Limit (as on 01st June, 2008) : - 27 years ( Candidates born before 01-June-1981 are not eligible to apply).

Age Relaxation upto 8 Years is extended to the candidates, having working experience in Organisation of repute.
Total experience should be of at least 56 months of continuous or intermittent service for availing 8 years of relaxation and on pro-rata basis for less than 8 years of relaxation. Where total service is made up of spells of intermittent/ not continuous for at least 20 days, for converting the total number of such days to month, 30 days will be used.

For Departmental Candidates (BHEL Employees): Departmental candidates with minimum 50% marks in the relevant discipline of engineering diploma through part-time/ Correspondence, will also be eligible to apply.

Eligibility: All departmental candidates meeting the above job specifications, working in A7 or lower grades in BHEL are eligible to apply. The departmental candidates in A6/ A7 grades, if finally selected, shall be allowed weightage as approved earlier for the previous batches of Supervisor Trainees.

There is no Upper AGE LIMIT for Departmental Candidates.

Tentative date of Written Test: 10-August-2008 .

Post :- Deputy Director

The Commission intends to fill up the post of Deputy Director (Tariff Accounts and Financial Analysis) on DEPUTATION. The post carries with it a scale of pay of Rs. 15,100-400-18,300 (Government of India scales of Pay). Qualifications and experience required for the post are detailed below:

Minimum Qualifications:
a) Degree in Accounting / Commerce, Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant;
b) 5 years of professional experience in accounting and / or finance; and
c) Demonstrated capability in analysis of company accounts, financial analysis, modeling including spreadsheet and database skills

Additional Qualifications:
a) Good written and verbal communication skills.
b) Knowledge of micro economics
c) Knowledge and / or experience in the power sector
d) Membership in an accountancy organization of good standing.

Posting Place: Hyderabad

Pay and allowances: In addition to the pay, dearness pay, dearness allowance, HRA, CCA shall be paid to the incumbent, if he/she is allowed to opt for the scale of pay of the Commission. Otherwise, the pay and allowances of the parent organisation plus deputation allowance shall be paid. The deputation allowance as per the rules of the Commission is 15% of the basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs.3,000/- pm (within same station) and 20% of the basic pay subject to a maximum of Rs.4,000/- pm (when the individual comes on deputation from a place other than Hyderabad).
